Abstract
Proceedings of the 12th International Conference on Topics in Astroparticle and Underground Physics (TAUP 2011)
The search for double beta decay of Cd-106 was performed at the Modane underground laboratory (France, 4800 m.w.e.) using the multi-detector spectrometer TGV-2. 16 samples (similar to 13.6 g) of Cd-106 with an enrichment of 75% were installed between neighbouring HPGe detectors and measured during 12900 h. New half-life limits (at 90% CL) were obtained for 2vEC/EC decay of Cd-106 to the ground state of Pd-106 - T-1/2 > 4.2 x 10(20) y, and for 0vEC/EC resonant decay of Cd-106 to 2741 keV and 2718 keV excited states of Pd-106 - T-1/2 > 1.8 x 10(20)y and T-1/2 > 1.6 x 10(20)y respectively.
